Nostalgias Peruanas
23:35: Thank you, Carlos, for pointing me here... next time I'm trying to feel like I'm back in Peru circa 1982, I'll go visit.
Among some of the more horrifying/fond memories:
- A beer named "Del Men", whose commercial featuring a gang of shirtless, sweaty men playing soccer is my first memory of ever having expressed, to anyone, how much I enjoy looking at sweaty, shirtless men. Keep in mind that this all happened when I was six years old. I still remember the moment This is not that commercial, but it's damn close!
- The horrifyingly painful christmas music performed by Los Toribianitos
I'll continue looking for more childhood-defining-images.
