At home with the Murk Family Singers

23:22: I just had a memory from childhood, entered a few words in Google, and found these people. I then went to AltaVista and found some more.

My sisters and I always found the cover to "En El Hogar Con La Familia Murk" much to laugh/cringe about... we think that this was one of the symptomatic and emblematic demonstrations of my dad's life-long, unrealized dream of being the head of a musical, performing family...

I imagine that if at some point, my sisters, mom, my brother and I got together, each with a musical instrument (at least one of us with a guitar), wore uniforms, and sang a song for him ("Pueblito Viejo" comes to mind for some reason) he'd become the happiest man alive.
