DC AIDS Ride 6: Wet, cool and glorious

My original intention was to post updates from the road, as I went. Well, despite my current employment as a consultant in wireless and mobile applications, or perhaps as a result of it, that really didn't work. Woke up at 4 AM with Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox if I Die as reveille. This seemed particularly fitting. I caught the shuttle to the fairgrounds at 4:45. I was unusually happy for being up so early--I suppose the excitement gave me enough energy to be bouncy and pouncy.
