Nostalgias Peruanas

Thank you, Carlos, for pointing me here... next time I'm trying to feel like I'm back in Peru circa 1982, I'll go visit.

Among some of the more horrifying/fond memories:

• A beer named "Del Men", whose commercial featuring a gang of shirtless, sweaty men playing soccer is my first memory of ever having expressed, to anyone, how much I enjoy looking at sweaty, shirtless men. Keep in mind that this all happened when I was six years old. I still remember the moment This is not that commercial, but it's damn close!
• The horrifyingly painful christmas music performed by Los Toribianitos
